1974 - Fred Lynn joins the Boston Red Sox major league team on September 5th.

1975 - On June 18, Lynn drives in 10 RBI and hits for 16 total bases.

1975 - Lynn becomes only player to ever win Rookie of the Year and MVP in the same year. Lynn also wins Gold Glove.

1976 - Lynn is selected for the 1976 All-Star game.

1977 - Lynn is selected for the 1977 All-Star game.

1978 - Lynn is selected for the 1978 All-Star game. Lynn also wins Gold Glove.

1979 - Lynn is selected for the 1979 All-Star game. Lynn also wins Gold Glove.

1979 - Lynn wins the American League Batting Title.

1980 - Lynn is selected for the 1980 All-Star game. Lynn also wins Gold Glove.

1981 - Lynn is selected for the 1981 All-Star game.

1982 - Lynn is selected for the 1982 All-Star game.

1983 - Lynn hits a grand slam in a 13-4 American league victory in the 1983 All-Star game. He is the only man in history to hit a grand slam in an All-Star game.

1989 - Lynn hits his 300th Home Run.
